Originally I didn't think of how much data technology is used in construction. Recently we spoke to Tracy, Senior Contract Services Officer with the State Department of General Services, who informed us that actually there is quite a lot of data mining and analysis is the construction field these days, especially with budgets and timelines getting tighter.
